Cruise and Conference Dinner

Cruise

A cruise along Amsterdam's picture-book canals.....It's something not to be missed! The cruise takes you along several canals and past the city's most spectacular spots. As you glide through the historic city centre you'll see elegant merchants' residences, churches and warehouses, dating from the Golden Age and steeped in history.

Conference Dinner

The conference dinner will be held in the restaurant "d'Vijff Vlieghen". D’Vijff Vlieghen – it means ‘The Five Flies’ – restaurant in medieval Amsterdam is a landmark and it is one of Amsterdam's most famous restaurants, Vijff Vlieghen, is located near the city centre and very close to busy shopping streets such as the Kalverstraat and Leidsestraat.

The d'Vijff Vlieghen restaurant consists of five adjacent 17th century houses. It has nine interconnected dining rooms, each with its own distinctive style. All of' them recreate the rich atmosphere of the Golden Age.
The Rembrandt Room is particularly remarkable for its four original etchings made by the great Dutch master. In the Knights' Hall, displays of helmets and armour recall the Eighty Years War with Spain.
The Glass Room contains a collection of rare handmade glassware dating from the 17th century, whilst the 18th century panelling of the Bridal Room creates an intimate atmosphere.

The founder, one Nicolaas Kroese, started it all in 1939. He had gigantic charisma that attracted attention from everywhere. Plaques on the chairs commemorate past guests: Walt Disney, Gianni Versace, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis.
